Introduction to the Bargue-Gerome Drawing Course

Diego Rivera did it. Picasso did it. Van Gogh did it twice. Now you can do it too. Rivera, Van Gogh and Picasso all studied the Bargue-Gerome Drawing Course, a standard of 19th century and early 20th century art instruction. Recently republished after being out of print for more than a century, the course is now a central part of the curriculum at institutions such as the Florence Academy of Art, where it is producing remarkable results.
